Mark would keep the lead for the first several circuits, with Beau pressuring.  Donnie, Bobby and Frank were having a great battle for 3rd.  Beau would make an outside pass of Mark to take the lead.  The half way flags, saw Frank’s engine explode on the main straightaway.  A small oil fire erupted but went out quickly.  The restart saw Mark pressuring Beau for the lead.  Merrill was working his way up from his 9th starting spot.  Beau would hold off his challenges and take the win.  Beau 1st, Mark 2nd, Merrill 3rd, Dave 4th and Bobby 5th.

We gave away a 10 Lap Racing Experience YOU RACE promotional giveaway. David Hallin of Platte City, MO was the happy winner.

With the extra dirt and a good watering, the pack vehicles did a great job of giving us a smooth race track to run.  It gave us a tacky track that we could really race.

Heat 1
1st    01      Bobby Layne             KC, MO
2nd   83g    Matt Gilbert              Merriam, KS

4th   25      Donnie Graves           Kearney, MO
5th     9      Chris Schofield          Raymore, MO
6th     1      Kendall Rupard         Grandview, MO
7th   7k      Kent Keck                  Lee’s Summit, MO
8th   9s       Bird Schofield            KC, MO
Chris jumped into the lead with Matt and Donnie chasing. Bobby and Phil were right with them.  Kent Keck was making his debut as a driver/owner.  On the 3rd lap, Matt and Bobby got by Chris, with Bobby taking the lead.  Phil followed on the next lap.  Bobby would take the win with Matt 2nd and Phil 3rd.

Heat 2
1st    93     Mark Billings            Columbia, MO

6th    9x     Joe Lackner              Minnesota
7th    7s     Scott Allen                KC, KS
Mark started on the front row because Scott started at the rear because of motor problems.  Mark jumped into the lead and left the pack.  Zack and Beau had a great race for the runner up spot with Dave waiting in the 4th spot.  Mark would take the win with Zach 2nd and Beau 3rd.

13th     4      Beau Heavelow        (8)
14th     9x    Joe Lackner              (2)
Kendall and Joe brought the field down.  Kendall led into the first turn but spun in front of the field.  There were cars going everywhere to avoid a massive pile up.  Joe ended up off the track with a brake rotor broken.  Kendall restarted at the rear.  Now Chris and Richard got to bring the field down for the restart.  Chris led the first lap.  Richard took the lead on the 2nd lap, with Dave on his bumper.  Dave would get the lead on the 3rd lap, with Phil, Beau and Zach trying to get by Chris.  There was a lot of racing in this group with back and forth passing.  Beau lost a clutch and went to the infield.  Dave would continue to lead after the restart.  Zach 2nd with Phil 3rd.  Mark, Bobby, and Matt were right there with the top three and they were having a great battle for position.  Phil would finally get by Zach and start chasing his cousin.  Even though a couple of yellows would bunch the field back up, no one had anything for Dave.  Dave would take another win, with Phil 2nd, Zach 3rd, Matt 4th and Mark 5th.
